A bride who received screenshots of text messages and racy photos between her fiancé and a mystery woman has detailed how she managed to get revenge on her cheating ex
A devastated bride-to-be learned some incredibly shocking news just as she was about to walk down the aisle to marry who she believed to be the love of her life. Her fiancé was cheating on her, and she found out through an anonymous text message the night before she was supposed to say 'I do'.
The couple had been together for six years and she didn't even had an inkling that the man she loved was seeing someone else behind her back. Retelling the story to Body and Soul, the woman, who remained anonymous, explained that she had been staying in a hotel with some friends when she had the shocking revelation.
When a message popped up on her phone, she thought it yet another congratulations for their upcoming wedding, but instead it was a series of screenshots of messages that her fiancé had sent to the sender, with the message: "I wouldn't marry him. Will you?"
The bride-to-be read through all of the messages on the screenshots between her fiancé and the mystery woman, including selfies of them together. Checking the dates, she could see it had been going on for months, and some of the messages were from just days before
One message read: "This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game."
Another said: "Your body is f***ing incredible. And s*** do you know how to use it," while a third said: "I wish my GF had half the skills you do."
One message was them planning a getaway together, and he had also told the woman, who she explained looked like her exact opposite, that he had "never had this kind of connection before".
She was going to go ahead with the wedding, and then "out" him in front of all his friends and family instead. She explained: "I walked down the aisle with leaden feet, my dream dress now just a costume. As he saw my face he knew this was not an ecstatic woman on her big day, but he had no idea what was coming. I arrived at the front of the room, took a big breath and I faced our friends, our parents and I told them the truth [...]".
The shock was visible on the crowd when she announced: "There will be no wedding today". She added that it seemed her fiancé was "not who I thought he was".
The bride had continued: "There will not be a wedding reception today, but instead, there will be a celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts."
According to the newly-single bride, she went on to enjoy a "hell of a party".
